With less than a week before the autumnal equinox we watch our micro-farm grow tired. We reflect on our seasonal rituals and are grateful for their fruits; from near-ready apples to zucchini^100. The domesticated plants vacationing on the patio have migrated back into the house to avoid the nightly sub-50F chill. They anticipate their darkened jungle room will fill with sunlight when the bird feeder tree molts again. Tonight we’ll drink hot tea instead of iced. One last mowing of the lawn (🤞) before raking season and on to bundled up nights in the darkroom. Is it too early to tune the skis? #🥔 #🥔 #🥔
