Appalachian Trail 2019

The steps that began this journey. From March to September, I laid a 2192-mile continuous footpath from Springer Mountain, GA to Mt. Katahdin, ME. The documentation of this adventure inspired me to pursue the art of photographic storytelling.
If you take some time to hike through robust album you will see iconic vistas, feel the textures of the trail, and probably start to smell like hikertrash. There’s bad weather, wildlife, and a cast of the most interesting characters. And of course, there is a love story.
The album is ever-changing as I regularly reflect on the experience and re-edit accordingly. By sharing my story I hope to inspire others to manifest similar adventures. The Trail will provide.
